Philadelphia and rock and roll icon David Bowie have a long history together. Their relationship peaked when Bowie recorded his Young Americans album at the city's famed Sigma Studios in 1974. Beginning January 6th, the City of Brotherly Love will be transformed into the City of Bowie Love.
Running through January 14th, Philly Loves Bowie Week brings nine days of events with more than a dozen activities scattered throughout the city, including
- A poetry reading
- An art exhibition
- Bowie themed ice skating
- A stargazing tribute to Bowie
- The debut of new brew "Loving The Alien, A Blackstar Saison"
