I know some people have expressed concerns about depending on the postal service. However, requesting and returning your mail-in ballot EARLY is the BEST DEFENSE against (a) possible slow-downs in the mail close to elections and (b) possible slow-downs at the polls on election day due to the reduced number of poll workers and polling places. If you sign up now, you should receive your ballot by late September, giving you a month to return your voted ballot by mail or in person at the County Board of Elections.
Once you get your ballot and mark it with your votes ASAP, you can put it back in the mail a month before Election Day. OR YOU CAN BRING IT IN PERSON to the Board of Elections starting in September and all throughout October if you would prefer not to mail it. Best of all, you can track your barcoded ballot on the VOTESPA.COM website every step of the way.
If you haven’t already done so, sign up now online at WWW.VOTESPA.COM to request a mail-in ballot for the fall election.
Remember that the VotesPA.Com website has lots of great functions:
-You can register to vote.
-You can change your registration.
-You can request a mail-in or absentee ballot.
-You can track the status of your barcoded ballot throughout the process.
-You can find a lot of information and FAQs about voting by mail.
